Cool (upper 40's) and foggy today.
My usual Wednesday run, although I chose to include a quick half mile (3:24) instead of the usual quick mile because I have a 5k coming up on Saturday. Legs have been feeling strong lately and I want to try keeping them relatively fresh.
I also had to temper my recent enthusiasm in terms of distance. I really wanted to make this a 5-miler. Since I ran 7 on Monday, I chose to stick with the plan and not increase the distance of every run at once! I've been known to get carried away like that in the past. Self-control will be vital if I'm going to make any progress.
