It was snowing before I got out, but I still got to enjoy a little dusting on the ground (and a little sleet/snow mix barely coming down.) This remains one of my favorite places to run. It's a mostly gravel, 1-mile loop around a park. The distance makes it ideal to do repeats. About half the loop is downhill and half uphill. Last night, I wrote myself a 6-week mini training cycle to prep for my next 10k, and the plan called for 5 miles on this course today. I resisted the temptation to run another loop, even as much as I was enjoying the run. Kept the pace moderate, running each mile faster, working up to a final mile of 7:38. Hit the S-Bucks drive-thru on the way home to warm up 8-)

Okay, back to work, sadly...
