Did the same Wednesday workout I've been doing. Have gotten faster each week. This one kind of got away from me (i.e. too fast.)
First two miles easy (9:01, 8:50)
3rd mile hard (6:50)
4th mi. maintain pace (8:06)
I guess it's an indication of improved fitness when the fast mile felt like it should have been about 7:05-7:10. It's not my intention to go so hard during that mile, though, so I need to find that "almost all out but not quite" pace that's always been elusive for me.
But...good run on another beautiful fall day!
