Out along the canal and back, so a flat run, which helped make it an "easier" 16 mile run then if on the country roads, but also closer replica of terrain for race day. Legs were definitely feeling it by the end but could have gone a little further. Was pleased that I did not take any walking breaks, not even to take the gel at 12 miles.

Still have to watch pace as it is easy to go too fast and have to remind myself to slow down, however I feel that today was better and kept it steady at 10.40 for the last half at least.

The weather is definitely cooling down and was a bit cool in a t-shirt, yet only last week had on a vest top.
