When I started out, I was going a bit too fast, b/c I got a late start on the run and wanted to do at least 3 ... slowed down a bit when I realized I was getting a little overzealous (probably around mile 1), so I'm a little surprised at how much faster I ran this loop compared to a couple days ago.
Still a long way to go, but if my easy/medium-paced runs are getting to 9:00/miles this quickly, that's most assuredly a good sign. Still have about 30 lbs to shed, too, but being able to cruise at a little faster pace will make adding mileage a little easier, as it will take less time to cover it all.
