Did my last long run before BT50K. I hit this one at a fairly good clip. I was pushing it harder than I should have been but I just felt like I wanted to blast out a run. I took it easy early up the slight incline and then let it rip going down the decline.
Everything feels good, My legs responded nicely. Every once in a while it is nice to see what I can do.
This was a hot run but I kept steady and fluid throughout. The last four miles seemed slow but I kept them all under 8'50" - they just felt hot.
Other than that - I felt like I could have hydrated a little better. But otherwise this was a good run.
