Since today is Black Friday in the U.S., I thought I'd post a couple of links to items might be of interest to others:
Woot has a refurbished Garmin 410 + HRM on sale today for $150: http://sport.woot.com/offers/garmin-forerunner-gps-sports-watch
(Woot sales typically last only 1 day, IIRC)
Amazon has the Garmin 610 + HRM for $300: http://amzn.com/B004XC3MXI
(I saw this price drop at a few other sites and it's intended to last a few days only, IIRC)
Amazon also has the Garmin 310XT for $210: http://amzn.com/B0025VKW5K
(This price drop appears to be longer lasting, since it appeared before Black Friday. Other sites seem to offer it around this price as well)
I also saw some shoes on sale from Altra: http://www.altrazerodrop.com/
(It's their original shoes, so they're probably trying to get rid of inventory, since they have newer versions of those shoes now)
Any other deals out there?

Thanks for the links. I totally lucked out the other day. I was in Marshalls and found a pair of shoes I had been considering getting... Merrill Barefoot Trail Running shoes. Retail - $110. Sale price $39.
If you live in West Bend, WI - Go get 'em!
I know this is not helpful to 99.9% of the readers, but I'm pretty proud of this find.
Here's a review for the shoes. They are pretty nice.

The Amazon price on the 610 is pretty interesting. $299 with the HRM. $349 without.
How bad can the HR strap be that you have to pay extra not to get it?
I ran a mile and I liked it, liked it, liked it. dgb2n@yahoo.com
This video should help
^sweet, thanks

Only hr models went on sale this week. $100 off on most sites. For whatever reason the non hr versions didn't go on sale. Weird.
Running my way to being a little less fat.
I have it on good authority that http://www.bestbuy.com/ will have sales on the Forerunner 110, Forerunner 410, and the Nike+ Tom Tom watches. I think the sales are Nov 25-26 and I know they're going to be online only. I don't remember the exact pricing, but the 410 will be $100 off.
And I picked up the Kinvara 2 at Dick's today for $50. They're in-store only. I love a good deal!
I don't half-ass anything

The Garmin 410 sale on woot is over, but appears to have transferred to Amazon today only: http://amzn.com/B0046BTK14
It's $150 with HRM, but it's more expensive without it.
Garmin Forerunner 110 is on sale today for $135:

dealnews.com is a great site for tracking all kinds of products.
Free membership sites theclymb and leftlanesports often have absurd deals (and I get a kickback if you join through those links). I got a pair of Hokas and a pair of Inov-8s for 70 bucks a piece on those.

I do not :-)
I figured I'd share bargains/specials if I saw them (and others can join in and share what they find as well).
I suppose you could go for Suunto, Polar, or Timex. I'm not as familiar with them, though, or their specials.
If you're looking for greater variety of specials, this guy (DC Rainmaker) has a longer list of specials for cyber Monday:

He lists some Polar stuff (35% off) if you're into that brand.

I seem to always miss the Inov 8 sales at the clymb. My size sells out rather quickly.
Hokas and Inov-8? Aren't you going at the opposite ends of the spectrum? :-)
