it's been 3 weeks since the chicago marathon (my first) and i still feel like i'm not back to where i was before it. i'm glad to see that others are experiencing the same thing. i guess we just take it slow, keep running, and know it will get better with time.

post-marathon soreness, cold, allergies, and no daylight -- you just have everything working for you, don't you Zoomie? Hope you recover well...
4 weeks and 1 day since Milwaukee...my runs are still mostly in the toilet. Things seem to be improving, but VERY slowly. I also had a head and chest cold (plus my usual Fall allergies) that got me down, too. I still feel a bit like I lost a fight.
Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head." - Joe Henderson
