283
Not running for my health, but in spite of it.
not bad for mile 25
Anyone in for 284?
I took that as a direct threat to you and jpdeaux. You should definitely go 284!
Some asshat already posted 300.
160 - with a 2 mile minimum each day.
Yep. I'm out.
Excellent, thanks for organizing. I shall do my best to meet my target which already looks kinda sad compared to what others are shooting for.
Hold the Mayo
I'm in. December goal 100

Funky kicks 2019
I am in need of some motivation. Please put me down for 1 mile / day minimum and 65 miles total for December. Thank you for organizing this thread!
It's the 4th Annual RA Holiday Running Streak! We do it much better than Runner's World.
Seeing that I've survived the past three streaks I might as well give this one a go. I'm not looking forward to it and I've scheduled a "down month" for December. This should be interesting. Put me down for 200.
Logistics are always the hard part. I've only got one trip scheduled, but it's to the west coast. With an 8am flight Sunday from SFO to BOS I'm recalling this:
2 miles in the pitch black at 5:30am hungover with sore legs before heading to the airport. Still in it!
The story told in person was much better.
I hope to hear and share more stories of holiday idiocy this year.
I've been improving with consistency but my work schedule destroys me every time...plus a nagging L calf strain the last 3 weeks but some rest the last few days seems to have helped so I'm in for 105 to beat October 2015 @103.2 miles.

Sorry. I just happen to be starting a buildup for the Phoenix Marathon in February. What is an asshat?
Sorry.What is an asshat?
We are the music makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers,
On whom the pale moon gleams:
Yet we are the movers and shakers
Of the world for ever, it seems.
