    9 hours after my HM finish and my legs aren't in major pain? I made it up and down the stairs with minimal discomfort?! This is the first time I've experienced this after a longer race. The last longer event I did (15k) was back in late June when I was still a heavy heel-striker and overstrider. I remember my quads being so pissed at me after that and I didn't even kick any ass (much less my own) during that race. I always felt it in my quads after all of my races from 15k and up before today. Tonite I feel fabulous...and I haven't even had a beer since lunch! Big grin k

    Getting the wind knocked out of you is the only way to

    remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air.

      That's because you trained well! Glad you are feeling good ... take an ice bath tonight and you prob won't feel ANY pain tomorrow!

        I'm thinkin' I might even go for a 4-5 miler tomorrow just fer shits-n-giggles. Usually I am still so stiff and sore the day after that there's no way I could manage it, but I think this time is going to be different, really. Woot! Big grin k
