Before the Garmin, I had a nike ladies running watch. It had a lot of nice features but I don't recall anything specific to intervals. It does have a lap counter, so everytime I hit a mile I could hit lap and it kept track of individual mile times. I'm guessing that you could use it in the same way for interval training.
I've got a fever...
I don't want to spend a fortune or have some massive thing on my wrist (heh, vanity thy name is aversion to weird tan lines), but I would like something that is easy to use. Any recommendations?

You know you should get one. If we're going to be running through town together in our skirts, our wrists have got to look the same too!! (Translation: don't make me the only geeky lookin' one out there!)

If buying a new watch you might want to check out the price of these older Garmin units (Amazon etc.) as they may not be that much dearer than some of the watches - with the obvious advantages over them.
