Last Wednesday I suffered what I'm guessing from some research is a hip pointer. Sharp pain in my hip just above the femur.
I rested up for four days, twice as long as I usually rest between runs.
When I tried to run again, the pain came back immediately. Not as bad as before, but definitely bad enough to not even attempt a leisurely jog.
At home I don't notice anything.
My question is: Besides just rest, are there any exercises or other recovery options to deal with a hip pointer?
