I did mention Joan Jett earlier. I took my son to see her at one of the local Indian casinos here in Lawton, OK last summer. Good show, but she was lookin' a little rough around the edges. Anybody remember her lead guitarist from the Runaways - Lita Ford. Now there's a rock chick.

Dang, only one vote for Chrissy Hynde? I have to throw in for her too. Not that Janis or Bonnie Raitt aren't great -- they are. But, "rocker"? Chrissy Hynde takes that one.

I remember a couple of years ago Joan Jett played in a bowling alley in the town I live. I remember thinking that maybe retirement would be a better option.
