Pain 5 months after femoral SFX. It can't be a rebreak, right? (Read 146 times)

Update: it's SI joint inflammation.  Not serious, not even particularly bad, nothing to do with the bone.

A few weeks of lighter running + elliptical (when I figure out how the heck to use the elliptical properly) and no lower body weightlifting (squats apparently can cause SI joint issues... bah humbug) is the doctor's orders.

Thank God.  Thanks to everyone for the support.  I really don't tend to overreact to minor aches and pains, but when it's in the same site as the stress fracture that set be back 5 months... yeaaah.

    PRs: 5k 19:25, mile 5:38, HM 1:30:56

Lifting PRs: bench press 125lb, back squat 205 lb, deadlift 245lb

What a relief! Still annoying of course, but not nearly as bad as a fracture.

I always find it hard to really work up a sweat on the elliptical. The hill program seems to offer the best workout in terms of getting your heart rate up. But only if it doesn't piss off your SI joint!
