Feeling the growl again

Spaniel, I can mail you one if you're interested.  Didn't really work for me.

I'll try anything, thanks in advance.  Check your PM.

Damn. If you need a chiro let me know as I have one who is a sports specialist.

Send me the info.  It's worth a quick try.

An encouraging run today. 4.7 miles

Ran in Nike Free's. Very little pain...almost negligible. Really like the shoe.

I spent this last week taking NSAIDs and icing the hell out of it. There was definitely swelling.

I'm icing right now not due to pain...prophylactically.

            Encouraging stuff, great to hear.

Heal up everyone else.  Hope the rolling, stretching, strengthening, chiropractors or whatever else help get you all back running happily and without the need for any fuckity fucks.

Damn guys. It sucks to see these injuries popping up. Hope everyone heals up quick.

At this point I am considering a real massage visit or perhaps a chiro visit.  I have never done any of that.  But I'm kind of desperate if I can't fix this in the next few days and willing to try stuff.  Thoughts?

How are things feeling after a few days off?  Any progress?

Spaniel, I've had very good luck with chiropractic for a chronic neck issue (car accident when I was a kid, back before airbags existed, seat belts were lap belts only and optional, and kids' car-seats hadn't been invented).  One thing I learned was to make sure the chiro wasn't more of a "mill", but instead was interested in getting me healthy enough that he wouldn't see me anymore.

Can you ask around in the running community and see who people go to for sports injuries?  Usually, a couple names will rise to the top.

Today is the first day it hasn't hurt progressively worse through the day just from walking around.  I'm going to try to run again tonight and see how it goes.

Next option, my wife found a massage woman who claims she's been able to do something for people with this issue.

Yup, I have info already from C-R.  If I can't shake in in the next few days...and a relatively inexpensive massage doesn't help...I'm on to that.
