Does he even race anymore or is he strictly doing publicity stunts?

    Did he ever race?

I am hoping to start running again next year - I can't see anything happening until then. Very sad.

Slow start. But I'll get there.

        Did he ever race?

Are you kidding? I heard he had a very strong finish in the Antarctic Marathon -- strong podium finish, with a controversial claim of first.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Ah yes... (to be fair to him... he did win Badwater - no mean feat)

And as I continue to run and work for someone else, I am still not in Leadville shape.  Something is wrong.

I resemble that remark - Although I am getting stronger - just not faster

When I get less fat - I will get faster

I'm not in Leadville shape, either. But I will be in 1/2 of Leadville shape by August. And even if I could train as hard as I wanted to here, you could never get in 100% Leadville shape here.

Same story here. I haven't weighed myself in a few weeks...I got down from 201 to 196 last time I got on the scale, hoping I'm down a few more. I'm about 4 inches shorter than you, so I still look like I should be pulling a cart.

I'm doing Howl at the Moon in August. 8 hours around a 3.3 mile loop. It will be my 2nd (presumably) time over 26 ever. Word is there is good beer and fried food after the race.
