    Hi,

I want to purchase a cook book geared toward healthy recipes. Anyone have a favorite they use? I'm open to both non veg and vegetarian cookbooks.  I'm interested in soups, slow cooker stews, pasta dishes, stir fry, snacks, etc.

You know what I want?  A cookbook that is exclusively side dishes.  Emphasis on veggies.  Or, is there a CSA cookbook out there, I heard there was.    I am so tired of getting healthy cookbooks that are all desserts or mixing in and out of season stuff.   I need 99 ways to make zucchini.

I use only two cookbooks for nearly everything.

            This is one.

            This is the other.

Blah blah blah, I have both.

You really find that much good in Joy of Cooking?

I am a cookbook nut.  I collect them and then hardly ever use any of them.

Imagine how it is when you cook for a living....... What I write off in Cookbooks alone every year is astounding, yet most of them are in my bookcases, un-read!

I'll read them.  Sometimes I'll curl up on a couch and read them cover to cover.  Its like porn for foodies.
