Half Crazy K 2.0

    A little over 6 with 5 x 6 minute tempo intervals.

LRB, hope you figured out something good for lunch.

Scottydawg, who looks out for life sized hot dogs on their run? Definitely not something I'd expect.

Docket, you should not have to pay to get put in the correct corral.

No real harm done...although after I got back up I had to "mustard" up some energy and do some 'ketchup' to get back into the flow of my run and make up some time.

      lol

Lunch was totally uninspiring as I had it on the fly as opposed to dining in. I made up for it at dinner, trust me.

Nice workout! Tempo intervals are a favorite of mine. Love 'em to death.

Speaking of left asses, I've been going to physio and my guy think my left ass cheek is delayed in firing.

Same here. If I ever get it right watch out...but there is no need to watch out because I won't.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Too bad I'm me and not him. lol

                    Horrible run:

Had to be at DD's soccer practice by 6. DW decided we were having steak and vegies tonight. Decided to eat before

So I drop DD at her soccer practice and hit the track next to her practice. Warming up, I feel stitches are just ready to annoy me, but I keep them under control. I feel so smart about eating that T-Bone! So I start MP running. I still can manage to avoid stitches but I realize my ass is not healed yet. I manage that too and keep a nice steady pace. 4 km into the MP, I see DD with her coach by the track. Her practice is cancelled: only three girls showed up. Really? I'm in the middle of a goddam run here. Of course, nobody understands why it annoys me to stop running.

Hop on the moped with DD and ride back home. I decide to go finish my run. After about 1 km, I start my MP running again, but this time I barely manage to keep the ass pain under control and fail with the stitches. I slow down, then pick up the pace again. The stitches come back soon. I slow down, and try a third time. They came back even faster. So decided to finish the run at easy pace.

Ran about 6 miles at MP split up in 4 parts, and a bit short of 10 miles total.

Rocked the shit out of my tempo run tonight:

                      1 mile warm up (7:58)

                      5 mile tempo (7:05, 6:59, 7:06, 6:51, 6:58)

                      1 mile easy (7:28)

7 miles at 7:12 avg.  That was better that any tempo run I had for my last marathon.

Watching King Kong (the one with Jack Black - 2005), I actually just now noticed that Ann Darrow is the only woman on a ship with a bunch of men...... you think they made a porn movie based off that?

What could possibly rhyme with Kong?  BTW, not googling that.

"Rest" day, because: work, work, some more work,  and then a rapidly closing window of non-rain in which to mow my lawn before it became un-mowable.

Actually I never thought about that in either of the three versions (1933, 1976 or '05).
