Because I want to know what will happen if I don't save my run on Sunday while we take our coffee break... I'd rather have one continuous 10-mile run in my log than two shorter ones.  I'm weird like that.

OK that's different - I thought you had already saved a run & wanted to resume it.

For this, you should be able to go into the settings, and change the timeout period. IDK what the 620 has, but the 220 has normal mode (5 min) and extended mode (25 min). It should give you a warning when it's trying to save anyway, and you can dismiss it to keep the current run active.

I don't think the length of time matters but I understand what you are doing. If it were me, I would add the splits of the second run to the first one and call it good, since it seems as if once the watch times out, it's over. I've had to do something similar when finishing up a long run on the belt because it was too flipping cold outside to continue.

Right, that's what I was thinking -- I doubt I'll spend THAT long on the break anyway.

The 620 has this option as well, and that's actually a good idea.

My shoes are on sale, too, and I have 2 that are close to retirement, but DH and I agreed to a mutual spending freeze this week. Sad

Well that was dumb.  One of mine are close to retirement as well, and are on sale because they're old. I ordered over the weekend & they just arrived yesterday. I had to wait till after Xmas because I get in trouble when I buy anything for myself before Xmas.

And ffs, those Asics are $150 regularly? Wow.

We are still on the same billing cycle as Christmas for one more week. So all purchases still "count " as spending money around Christmas.
