                  Way to go! Green masking tape start? Awesome! I love that you risked blowing up by going hard and giving yourself a shot at your goal. If you really want it, and think you have a chance, there's nothing wrong with that strategy. As you run more I think the gap between that first mile pace and the other miles will definitely shrink, even if you do go out hard. Congrats on the PR. Be smart tomorrow, and have fun.

                    Kristin, great job on the PR, but I hope this race does meaningful things for your perspective on running that transcend pace and time.  You have to imagine that your potential is unlimited.  Just keep enjoying the run Smile  Huge grats.
