Blame the men
Because 72 degrees just makes too much damn sense.
Super B****
I ask you -- they tell us to set the thermostat to 72 in the summer when we want to be cool, and 68 in the winter when we want to be warm. WTF?!

because i never shut up ... i blog
I'd be good with 72 / 74.
Supposedly, the air is set at 72. I have a thermometer in my office, it is currently 68. And there are periods of air conditioning in the winter FFS.
When the A/C is set to 73, I'm wearing a hoodie and a sweater because I'm so damn cold.
Bass ackwards.
68 is nice to stand briefly in during the hot months, but unless you are mulling about, it's too cold when you are sitting still at a desk most of that time.
WTF does anyone live there with weather like that?
Ask Will Smith.

Yep. I bought a snuggie from 5 below. Forget ever wearing a skirt to work with bare legs.

What about the feet? Assume 'white socks' there.
Awesome shape girly.
I do that every day. Though I do have a space heater, which helps. Then it gets too hot, so I turn it off. Then it gets too cold, so I turn it on. It's like menopause!
He definitely has the answer.
Mmmmm...beer
Luckily the thermostat for my office is next to my desk, it's set at 73* (perfect) and I change it back any time anyone has messed with it.

My guess is buildings more than compensate for the heat outside. 88/67 here and I am wearing a fleece jacket and could use some gloves.
We never turn the AC off but even the heat permeates through inside the house. Especially in the fiery afternoon sun. I was sweating on the TM yesterday!
Unfortunately, my office is currently at 80F because everybody has fucking personal heaters. I cannot even wear my suit inside the office.
Oh, and if you ever live here, know that your AC will break in the middle of August. I guarantee it.
Most people who live with extremes just tolerate it. 100 on August 19th in Miami is like zero here on February 19th. We are not asking for that stupid shit, it just is what it is.

Yes, but your zero does not last 7 months!
And yes, it is what it is. I don't like living here, but I cannot leave right now.
