Not every day but our first day in the 100s heat indexes was in April. We get it for weeks, unless it rains in which case it stays on the mid to high 90s. This is our 5th straight day in the triple digits of this month. Our last days in the 100s could go as far as October.
And like I said, we don't cool down. It was in the mid 90s by the time I left my house this morning. And I think that's what I hate the most of here. 2014 had no Winter. We were hitting record highs of 90F in January and February. It gets depressing if you like the outdoors.

Fuck 72, I like my thermostat set to 69 thank you very much. DH is the one who likes it overly warm, we have compromised by keeping it at 72 as far as he knows.... but when he isn't looking, I set it to 70
And if I am working out at home, I try to sneak it down to 67 and I still have to have a fan on me.
