    Track work today.  4 x 1200 with 400m recoveries.  The first two were OK, the third a little slow and I cut the 4th one short at 800m when I was working harder, going slower, and feeling a slight tightness in my calf.  I guess 2 races in 6 days and then speed work 3 days after that was ambitious.  Rest day tomorrow.

    5k 23:48.45 (3/22); 4M 31:26 (2/22); 5M 38:55 (11/23); 10k 49:24 (10/22);
    10M 1:29:33 (2/24); Half 1:48:32 (10/22); Marathon 4:29:58 (11/23)

    Upcoming races: Running is Back 10k, 5/12; Greta's Run 5k, 5/19

      Morning! WFH but have to go to a court hearing in the afternoon. No idea what I have to run today as I'm waiting for my week from my coach. If I haven't heard, I'll run 5.

        Beat the rain and wind. Probably overdressed, but that was because I thought it would start raining.  4.7 with strides.

          'Morning!  I got my snow tires put on my car this morning, all but guaranteeing we won't get any more snow this year.  I've got a 9 mile tempo run to do tomorrow that I'll have to get done in the morning before work.  The weather is going to be awful, so I may just have to try to get some miles in and scrap the workout.  Treadmill isn't an option since I'll be WFH.

          +1.  Five easy miles done.  19 degrees.

            I wasn’t “mucking around at all” 8 mile stream grade…

            10 seconds a mile faster than I did the army ten miler and 88 seconds a mile faster than the course closure pace of the B&A.  For me, definitely an aerobic run.

            The B&A is a really remote possibility but ducks can dream.

            definely didn’t beat the rain

              Just 3 miles. I needed to be home by 6:45am and can't seem to make myself run in the cold AND dark. It was 35F again this morning! We turned the heat on for the first time this season.

                9 miles. Beat the rain that’s forecasted for the rest of the day; did not quite beat the wind, but got in ahead of the worst of it. It was 15+ mph but they’re predicting 25-35 later.

                  Had to help my daughter out with the accident stuff. Looking doubtful that I have time to run tonight. I will no be home until about 9:30 PM.
