Tell me about the primate part. I've seen it but can't seem to try it. (too used to stem peeling)
It's the same difference you just turn it upside down. The peel doesn't split when you do it from the bottom as it sometimes does when done from the top.

Peel them from the end, the easy way, I'm amazed every time I watch someone struggling to peel a banana from the stem.
