As much as I hate the time change for running after work, I hate that it's pitch black now. I feel like I got up in the middle of the night. Wondering what the rail trail is going to look like. We had really bad storms roll through last night, I assume the National Weather Service will be around to figure out if the damage was from tornadoes or straight line winds.

Good luck racers! I'm excited for you ROS because Monumental is a great race! (A tiny part of me wishes I was running it again!). If the first mile is a little congested, just relax and don't waste energy weaving. It clears up fast. Enjoy!

Good, won my age group. Bad, the 5k PR drought will extend into it's 6th year. Never had a chance, course had cross country sections and wet leaf covered bridges.

30K mat passed @ 8:52mm. I think that's the pace of the section, not the whole race but I am not sure. OK, I checked and average of 8:49mm. Still strong.
