Former Bad Ass
If it's not one thing, it's another. This November will be my lowest monthly total since November 2016.
Mine too probably since earlier this or last year when my running sucked.
Damaris
Woo hoo, leapfrogged Damaris and Lori in a single bound!

See what being well rested will do. Meanwhile we can commiserate as I haven't even been able to race since June.

Doing better than me. The last time I was able to race, we had Obama as POTUS.
Are we there, yet?
Just checked my Pace Bunny widget. If I run 18 miles a day for the rest of the year, I can still get my 2000 miles annual goal.

Week 48 - So late in the year and we have a tie for 3rd place, plus the battle for 6th place is seeing a lot of movement as StdDev scores come into play.
5k 23:48.45 (3/22); 4M 31:26 (2/22); 5M 38:55 (11/23); 10k 49:24 (10/22); 10M 1:29:33 (2/24); Half 1:48:32 (10/22); Marathon 4:29:58 (11/23)Upcoming races: Scotch Plains 5k, 6/12; Firecracker 4-miler, 7/4
Week 49 - Three weeks to go in this year's contest and some spots are still closely contested. Of course, this is just one year in the multi-year scoring.
I need only 167 miles per week for these last 3 weeks to meet my goal.
Well, if you stay on current pace for this year, your weekly goal will go down by 4 miles next year...
Well, Lauren. has zero miles posted so I'm going to wait and see if something shows up in a day or two before running the results for last week. (I know why Baboon has no miles.)
Week 50 - Half Crazy K 2.0 closes to within 2 points of Fredford66. Some shuffling in the middle area as DanFuller's recent mileage surge moves him up. If Lauren. posts miles from this week later on, I'll just add them back in (though technically Quickadder still has a shot at first if she really is taking a break).
Week 51 - Changes in the StdDev rankings have shaken up the top of half of the leader board. One week to go and we assign this year's points to the game.
Ooh, it’s a battle for 5th place!
and 3rd/4th place
and perhaps 1st/2nd place, but then I've been here before and Lauren. has added her miles later and immediately jumped back into the lead.
Fred, is there a cut-off time for logging year 2023 miles or will results be recalculated ad nauseum if additional miles keep appearing?
Started running at age 60.
AG 60-64 PR - 5K 25:45, 10K 53:28, HM 1:57:39, Marathon 4:32:09
AG 65-69 PR - 5K 26:11, HM 2:02:39, Marathon 5:04:47
Upcoming race: Four on the 4th 7/4/24 maybe.
ad nauseam /ăd nô′zē-əm/
No, I don't plan to recalculate ad nauseum.
Once I update the overall game scores, I'll probably consider the year "closed" though if someone adds a bunch of miles after that, I may think about updating their target for the next year.
