Congratulations, George, on beating your expectations in the mile and 800. Tacking on a 3000 not long after those is bound to be rough, especially if your overall mileage has been a bit low.
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.
Congratulations!
Good work, George! It's always nice to pleasantly surprise yourself at races.

Congrats George! I love reading about your track meets, it's a cool change of pace from the more common distances, such a different kind of atmosphere.
Mile 5:49 - 5K 19:58 - 10K 43:06 - HM 1:36:54
Are we there, yet?
Woke up this morning to all the Congrats posts. Thanks, all. Physically I was pretty much flat on back the rest of the day, but I'm still enjoying the thrill of those races this morning. Can hardy wait to tell the college kids I run with on occasion about it. They had their first meet of the season on Friday, so I'm sure they'll have some stories too.
