The Boston Marathon (Read 98 times)

So, missed a PR by 8 seconds. I honestly could not have run it any faster. I don't know that it was the wind though. I felt like it was more the amount of downhill running. My legs were pinging me already by mile 8.  Or maybe it was just my sub-par training ha ha

I ran it by effort and I'm happy with the pacing. I was still able to run decently after Heartbreak so I was happy about that.

The up hills were surprisingly not bad at all.

I just got done ESU. Now it's rest time. Smile

PS Brad Hudson said the conditions cost you about 5-8 seconds per mile. If you want to feel better about yourself.

Oh, and thanks for the kind words everyone!

Told you.  You did great considering the conditions.  I think it was the rain and the wind, and everything just together, rather than one factor alone.  Great joB!

Question about the clock that's displayed at the finish? When does it start?
