Ice is back with a brand new invention Something grabs a hold of me tightly Flow like a harpoon daily and nightly Will it ever stop? Yo, I don't know Turn off the lights and I'll glow To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle

Too cold, too cold.
There is a gym treadmill with my name on it. And no, my name is not Life FItness.

Stop. 21 deg here, staying by the fire.
I am reading a book which has quotes at the top of each chapter. This one made me think of all of you cold dwellers:
I must look to my footing:
In such slippery ice-pavements men had need
To be frost-nail'd well, they may break their necks else ...

It was 10 degrees with a feels like -2, 9 mph N winds. Really wish I had just said fuck the run and gone to the gym for weight lifting instead, Rocky and I hit the roads and I immediately knew I made a mistake not wearing 2 pairs of tights and legs were sore from yesterday. The area around my left glute and hamstring was back to being achy and irritated. At one point when I stopped, my eyes began to burn and for a moment I thought I had made a horrible decision.
Rocky and I finished with 8.4 miles, now at some point today I am going to do 45 minutes of abdominal/core strengthening........ if I even have the energy.

Morning. Ft. Lauderdale HM done (hours ago). Very strong workout (8 at MP) and my fastest HM in three years, I think. And I wasn't even racing it.
