I ran an easy 3 miles this morning. I didn't feel nearly groovy enough to run 10+, and that's ok. I'll get it tomorrow, probably.

I have a disobeying attorney here trying to work. Oh, it's only for 15 minutes. He is about to be called on by the boss if he does not leave by 9:45am. Just saying.

He is not, but there is a law forbidding furloughed employees from working and the card downstairs and his computer logs him in when he is here, so Washington knows or will know. Guess who's ass is on the line for allowing him to come in? There are strict procedures we do and reports we have to give (as to who is complying and not complying, so we have to report any abnormalities, especially when they will find out on their own).
This only happens because he is a work aholic that used to be excepted and he cannot stand that someone else is doing it. We already had a fight when he started telling us how to do our job. He just pissed all four of us.

my abs are kind of sore today and at first I thought it was from my workout yesterday but now I am thinking it's from trying to keep my balance walking two dogs on the ice yesterday

Ha, the only security in this building is Federal Protective Services and the US Marshals. You sure don't want to mess with them, especially if they are also working for free.
He left. He was here for 5 minutes, WTF. I think he just wanted to come because he can't help it. For sure I wouldn't drive an hour from my house, park, etc., only to come in for 5 minutes.
I slogged for 7 miles in the dark.
My day begin at 5:08 and I almost cried. I was a minute late to work and when I got there found that half the office has stage 4 flu. My broken ass is back to hurting and I've written the wrong date 5 times. Other than that, everything is awesome.
They all came to work with the flu or called in sick? There are a couple of employees who are so unlucky to get sick the day after a holiday or their vacation. Sure, Jan.
