8 miles in the blazing sun. the breeze was nice though. Maybe I should start attempting to run early in the morning instead of at noon

Runshorti, I always say I am going to get up earlier in the summer to run. It never happens and I wind up running at 10-10:30 in the blazing sun. That's about as much of a morning person as I can be.

No more marathons
BQ cut off prognosticators who were pretty close last year are projecting no limit this year. Heat at Boston and other late season marathons have drastically limited the number of qualifiers compared to the past three years.
