2 new pairs of shoes--what a great dilemma!
You could always put a Brooks on 1 foot & a Saucony on the other.
Otherwise, just choose the one that more closely matches what you're wearing today, and begin your show cycle with that pair.
Well I've been coveting a pair of Brooks ever since I tried them on in the store and they came in in second place.
Hehe...one day without running and I'm losing my damn mind. Thank you for humoring me.
Feets don't fail me now
Well, the cuter ones of course!
I run in Omni 11's - love them. They stabilize my freaky ankle pretty nicely and were a real improvement over the 10's, IMHO.

But they're both adorable

I'm a Brooks gal all the way, including now in Adrenaline 12s as my primaries. Try to guess my vote..
I ran in the Brooks today. It was unintentionally fast. You may be on to something. I'll run in the Saucony's tomorrow and report back.
A Man On The Run!
I run in Omni 11's and love them! I can't wait to hear how you compare the two though...I have been looking at the Brooks as maybe my next pair. Let us know!

Well, here we go:
Brooks Adrenaline GTS 13: Since I've been running in Asics Gel Foundation 10's for quite a while now, I'd say that these have a bit stiffer base to them. They feel really comfortable though. I feel like they transfer more energy to the pavement. In other words, they feel faster. They're also lighter than the Asics, but still offer great support. They breath really well, and I look forward to wearing these for quality and speed workouts. I'd love to run a 5K or 10K with these.
Saucony Omni 11: In your hand, these feel lighter than the Adrenaline. On your feet, you can't really tell much of a difference in weight. It took me about 1/2 mile to adjust to the 8mm heal drop. I think my old Asics, and the Brooks are about 12mm. Once my achilles loosened up to the idea of the 8mm heal drop, these shoes were like running on clouds. They somehow still offer a lot of stability, but instead of feeling like a shoe, it feels like someone softened up the earth below you. I think these are going to be my long run shoes, and shoes for half marathons and longer.

AW, you probably discussed before but i probably missed it, how did you decide on these particular shoes?
My LRS watched me run, and recommended shoes. I tried on a bunch that they recommended, and liked these and my previous shoes the most.
