            Are we there, yet?

LRB posted a brief report. It doesn't sound good. Meanwhile I made a spur of the moment decision this morning to run a 5K despite not being in race shape - been pushing the training for distance and speed is suffering, besides legs having a lot of residual fatigue from this week's workouts. But the race was only 5 minutes away by car and on a flat, paved rails to trails path. Briefly: small race with less the 50 runners, worked hard but couldn't get up any speed. Splits and time: 9:38, 9:41, 9:37, :55 - 29:51 good for 29th overall.

               2024 Races:

                    03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles

                    05/11 - D3 50K, 9:11:09
                    05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour

                    06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
