Seeing all the other elevation charts make mine look like nothing! Hopefully you all are right and it feels that way too! I have plenty of time to train (6 months!) so I will be ready to take the hills on and make them my bitch. I tend to have panic over hills...I don't know why. I have a 10K coming up with a few hills too. I need to relax Smile

    Return To Racing

Kristin, I felt the same way with my first HM in Knoxville last week.  All I can say is, that when you are running at the same speed as the walkers, you might as well walk.  And do as much TM hills as you can.  I'm sure you can break my 2:24 debut PR.  Good Luck and have another beer !!!!

If you want a flat one in November, Savannah is nice. It's an RnR though.

OHHH I love Savannah! I have been there once, briefly, because we flew in and out of there to go to Hilton Head, and we spent a few hours there our first day before heading over to HH...beautiful city. I will consider...

          Shakedown Street

That will not be too bad, actually, it's over three miles.

Like others have said, it's the downhill that hurts you.
