    I slept in my recovery compression pants until they woke me up at 3am because they had gotten so damn tight.  If that's not a FWP, I don't know what is.

            I've always done a three week taper, but then again I am doing a lot of things this cycle that I have not done before.

                  I have 6 today. Maybe 0 though because unfortunately DD2 found her kitty had died over night. The cat was 15.

                    I will be heading out for 4 miles here in a bit and with the condition of my legs I fully expect it to take forever. lol

                     

                    Recovery runs serve an important function though so I am okay with that, just looking to take it easy.

                     

                    So anyway, what's up with you today?

                     

                    Same for me.  4.3m recovery.  You're right, they are important, but it's counter-intuitive to my brain screaming at me for getting up at 5am when my legs are so tired.  My brain lost this morning.  I'm sure it will rebel on me at some point in the workday though. Smile

                            Yes.  And no taper at all.  I ran 50 miles the week before my marathon PR race.  Figures.
