I really, really want to like this RR -- but YOU ARE WEARING A METS SHIRT!!(I'm kidding, kind of. Good job!! It's weird that the race was 3.3 miles -- I mean, the Prospect Park loop is 3.35, but the ground has markings for a 5K start and finish, and I can't imagine they didn't use those?!)

I think it would be cool to run with all those mascots cheering you on. Usually it's all done by volunteers and spectators, but those guys are professionals. Come to think of it, having actual cheerleaders for a race would be pretty cool too!

About the Garmin, have you tried resetting it, either soft or hard? That's what I would try first.

I love that your dad has the running bug now. Love the outfits. Sorry about the shirt. I hate when races only have men's shirts. Even a small is huge on me. I guess you could use it for a tent.
