Mostly harmless

    I put my ball caps in the dishwasher on the top rack.  Make sure the "heated dry" is turned off.  Cleans them up fine and doesn't mess up the shape of the brim.

      You say that like it's a bad thing.  This just means you can buy more hats!  Big grin


      I treat my hats like any other article of running clothes.  They get washed after each use.  I don't get how having it on top of your head makes it any different in that respect.  I wash my gloves often too.  


      Headsweats hats are my favorite.

       I have 5 hats that were given out to finishers at the Virginia Beach Shamrock HM.  A different color every year, the one that died was my second favorite.  Irreplaceable. 


        Although, I must admit there have been a couple of times I've felt unprepared for races and a whiff of my hat reminded me of al the hard work I put in.
