I ran a bunch of miles for All Star Week and swung by the gym for deadlifts, but most importantly...
MY CAT MIGHT BE OKAY!!!!
Vet called about 15 minutes ago. Cytology came back with lots of inflammation but NO cancer markers! She's not out of the woods yet, he said it's OK to hope for the best at this point but still be prepared for the worst. It seems to be chylus leaking into her pleural cavity. They'll drain off all the rest of the fluid tomorrow, I can go to work knowing she's in good hands and should be more comfortable when I take her home, and then we'll possibly have to see a specialist to find where the chylus is leaking from (usually a tear in the thoracic duct) and surgically repair it. Probably going to be $$$ but I will deal with it to save my little girl! So many emotions this week, I can't even handle it.
Really nice 8.2 in town on a cool cloudy afternoon. Lots of people were out enjoying the unexpected break in the heat.
Great news, Lauren! Fingers crossed that they can find the problem.

Easy jogging and walking for recovery still. 3.7 miles tonight.
Is it weird to have wine with hot dogs and potato salad for dinner?
