As to Boston, Lily, you have an excellent base and can finish it. Just have fun with it. And read what you wrote to onemile about Boston and apply it to yourself.

Treadmill. 50 minute progression. I manual lapped every five minutes. Paces: 8:28 8:09 7:43 7:48 7:22 7:25 7:01 7:01 6:33 6:20 6.8 miles at 7:19 avg pace. Good but could have been better. I was worried too much about conserving energy the first 20 minutes. Next time I will push harder.

Good, good, stuff.
I am not used to running hard for 50 minutes straight, outside MP or even HMP. I'm still trying to figure these runs out.
Right. At some point those will be miles and not half miles, but you will work your way up to them and come to relish the workout which is usually 10 to 12 miles or so.
You are doing great though and that's all that really matters. Nice job yo!
Nice avi. Helloooooo mama!
Update on hubby's specialist appointment. He was not worried about the nodule in his prostate but sent him for some tests. So, I guess we monitor for now. Good news.
There are going to be some forumites in need of pelvic adjustments after looking at that. That is one hell of a come hither look you sexy beast!
Life is good.
You are so funny, Blue!
You could run a 3:32 this coming Sunday if you wanted to. You only need maintenance mode at the moment. You don't need high mileage and super long LRs. You've been doing great so far. I am once again questioning the logic of going to Boston. I can't seem to get a break in my training. I have one week of it under my belt so far and it feels like I have retired from running about 10 years ago...

You could just come and run a 3:32 with me!
13.1 done. Back to winter tomorrow.
FTW!
+1!
Now I expect someone to complain about the lack of morals around here and ask the moderators to intervene.
PRs: Boston Marathon, 3:27, April 15th 2013
Cornwall Half-Marathon, 1:35, April 27th 2013

I could, but it would require a miracle for me to keep that pace. Are you in the business of miracles, onemile?
There better be pics.
Dave
YES. Do you happen to have any camo speed shorts?
I ran 9 with 8x800 with 2 minute recoveries. It was supposed to be slightly slower than the 400's from last with so I did them at 9.1mph (6:36)
