    Fear is a Liar

10.5 miles done in feels like 14 with some occasional snow blowing and assorted patches of black ice. Now it is time for key lime pie, a hot shower, karaoke and a beer or two!

I'm so vegetarian I don't even eat animal crackers!

Gonna give it all back 'eh?  My man!

          Hi dailies:

Run aborted after about 200 yards.  Ma Nature, you win.  It wasn't the cold, but the zero visibility during gusts.  I simply did not feel safe out in that in the dark -- any small mishap could quickly snowball (haha, punny) into a life-threatening situation.

On the plus side, no work tomorrow -- everything important was postponed.

Live to see another day Jay, the operative word being live.

I'm sorry I laughed. It's just that... 9:22 does not resemble you.  But I understand it isn't easy to come back after a hiatus. I was much much slower than 9:22 pace when I went back to running after 2 months off (and also in the last miles of my marathon, in December. I'm glad you missed that RR, btw...lol...)You're a rocket compared to me. :-)

BP actually runs 9:00's more often than not.  Couple few times a month at least.

The need to run has no rhyme nor reason, its force is strong and unpredictable though, causing one to do things once thought unfathomable.

I would agree....to be honest if I was allowed to run right now, and it was -30, I think I'd make it happen.
