You can if you want, but this is one thing that isn't BF-specific. Despite BCR's question, it is kind of self-explanatory. But you can.
Since you brought it up, an organic meltdown can be fun or tragic to watch, depending. But one of the goofier aspects of BF "culture" is the absolute need to create meltdowns, and non-organic attempts to manufacture them when one hasn't happened at the proper interval (at least for the person deciding to fake bake one). When that starts happening, the god of lameness smiles.

Threads that developed into name calling, insults, doucheebaggery. They usually occur on a Friday, although they can spontaneously occur every day of the week. Certain forumites are more prone to create meltdown threads. If you see a thread with 100 posts in 30 minutes, chances are it's a meltdown thread.
