I just checked the weather for the LA Marathon, which kicks off in about 75 minutes. At 44 degrees, the people out there may show up wearing fur coats and snow boots. lol
It'll probably warm up rapidly though so it should be a great day for racing.

Perfect racing weather! Hopefully it stays somewhat cooler.

Nice. yeah, the race warms up in downtown and then cools down as you head to the Santa Monica pier. But apart from the year I ran it, it's the coolest it has been there in ages. Go, LawyerMom!
I have a very tough workout on the TM. Will report back if/when I survive, lol.

I had about the same temp as LA this morning. I rode 24 overcast miles in the mid 40s. No wind, no rain made for a comfortable ride.
That's 4 hours on the feet, and 6 hours on the bike this week. Maybe with a few more weeks like this, the hills won't hurt so bad.

Hello! I did two hours on the bike trainer. It was a tough workout as these things go. Looking at my Facebook and Strava feeds, everyone but fucking me is running a race today.

11 miles at my favorite oceanfront hilly spot: Torrey Pines. Ran through a film shoot that seemed to be for a Kia car commercial. Last time that happened it was for a Kevin Hart movie.
49 degrees at the start of my run and only 60ish now. A good day for racing! Too bad i don't race until next weekend where it will probably be 75+, lol.
