Speaking of searching for legs, I think I left mine back at the gym treadmill this morning. 60 minute workout went like this:
10 minute w/u
15 minute tempo (6:40 pace)
3 minute recovery
15 minute tempo (6:35 pace)
10 minute tempo (6:30 pace)
4 minute c/d
5 shot Americano for recovery.
8.4 miles total at 7:08 avg pace. Strong effort. I figure I've got a couple more of these I can get in before my next HM. Need to make 'em count.

Dude I didn't want to get up this morning, seriously I had to force myself out of bed, into clothes and out the door. But I am happy I got out there, I got in 8 miles and finally felt like I was back to my average easy pace. Jetta slept in and I didn't feel like trying to get her up without waking my little man.

Morning, dudes, or like they say on The Island, D-O-O-D, yeah, dood. I have Pilates tonight and that is it.
I was closed to not coming into work but here I am. We'll see how the day goes.

I'm just tired. I seriously need to sleep for like 12 hours.
Dude. 9 w/6x1200m @5k pace. Yes, 4.5 miles of intervals at your 3 mile pace. That sounds reasonable. Reasonably terrifying; my usual is 4 of these and I'm toast. But, killed it anyway.
5k pace is ~6:45. Splits: 6:47, 6:38, 6:37, 6:29, 6:34, 6:26.
In unrelated news: I think I will plan to race a 5k on 4/16.

I have no class today. I've already shaken hands a half-dozen times, and washed them an equal amount. Now if I can just get people to stop sticking their filthy hand out to me to shake while I'm seated and waiting to eat, I CAN STOP WASHING THEM.
