Supposed to get another round of heavy rain and wind later today. Right now it's bright and sunny. 5.7 with 3 @HM pace + 3x200. That went way better than expected.
8 miles at 16 degrees. My coldest run since moving to Seattle. Tomorrow’s supposed to be a few degrees lower, so we’ll see how long that record lasts.

Good morning and all that malarky. I checked out the track last night and it was clear of snow, so I ran 5.2 miles on it this morning to the tune of 6 x 800 light tempo/400 easy. I have never done Yasso 800's before but I believe they were about that effort.

Speaking of weather, I have been activated for storm duty for work tomorrow. On a Saturday. Hopefully I won't be deployed but I have to be at the ready starting at 8:00 AM. I got that e-mail and had to check the weather because I didn't know this was a possibility. Looks like wind tonight.

5.2 mi in sunny and 40F. Strava says "feels like 36F" but no wind so? Probably one of my coldest days as well. Legs were basically numb by the end.
I remembered like yesterday that Hey! No work on Monday. We only started getting MLK day off last year, I think.

I'm really hoping for a 4 day weekend. There is currently a decent amount of snow (for MD) in the forecast for Monday night into Tuesday.

I got an email from the Seattle Marathon, telling me I finished 9th place in my AG and I get an award - apparently they go 10 deep! Not sure why it took them so long, the race was a month and a half ago. I'm not sure I even looked at my placing, because I ran that as a pacer, lol. They're going to send me some kind of award plus they're offering 25% off next year's race. It's a hilly course and I have no interest in racing; I'd rather pace again and get 100% off. But the award is nice.

Are you expecting any snow Sunday or Monday? After the rain and wind come through here, it gets cold. We're supposed to get snow Tuesday.
So far, we might get 1" of snow tomorrow and 50mph winds. And cold next week but so far, no expected rain/snow. Only 0-4F lows....But with sunny days or cloudy but no precipitation.
