Bring Back the Mile! How many track meets at any level contest the mile? So many HS track meets use 1600m instead and 1500m is the preferred distance in international track meets. Though it is important to note that the Bislett Games in Norway still feature the Dream Mile as the premier event.
Our middle school does 1600m. I am not sure what happens at the high school.
