Wickedly Average
April:
Continue to increase mileage slowly, while being fully cognizant of those body aches and pains that would want me to take up couch potato activities instead.
Increase my speed a bit more. Still a long road to get back to where I was in October.
Bump my long run up a bit more. Gently.

My goals for April are:
1) Stop complaining about the weather.
2) Ride my bike as much as I can.
3) Stop eating everything in front of me.
4) Make it to surgery without a mental breakdown.
If the weather sucks this spring, #1 and #2 will be a fail. And #3 is highly related to #4. We'll see how this month goes down.
1) Kiss a girl or three in Wellesley.
Me too as I have never done that before. I always knew the volunteers there but not this time. In past years women have stopped to kiss me there when I volunteered which cracked up my wife.
Done : I stopped at 3 spots in Wellesley. Race done. No mileage goal but did some.
That is funny!

My running blog
Goals | sub-18 5k | sub-3 marathon 2:56:46!!
My racing season begins in earnest this month with two chances to improve upon my 5k PB which was set last June in temps in the mid 70's. My first attempt is on a favorable course and the temps should be favorable as well (I really need to knock that one out of the park). My second attempt finishes uphill which means I will have to handle my business during the first 2.5 miles then just hold on for the last 1000 meters or so.
