    Really, nothing?

I ran 6 miles with 10 so-called strides. It kind of sucked, my hip pain was really bugging me. I'm thinking of taking a few days off and seeing if that helps. Even if that means Baboon blasting ahead of me in the B&B Miles Game.

'Morning.  I ran 7 easy miles on a hill route at lunch.  I am enjoying the easy "I don't give a damn about the pace" runs.  It was still faster than it felt.  I had my Garmin under my sleeve and never looked at it.  I've got to pick DW up from the airport at 11:30 tonight which means I'll be a zombie tomorrow.

This would bring me no satisfaction and I'd rather you be healthy and keep me in second.

Took a week off due to injury - tightness and pain in my calf. My therapist told me that she had seen a lot of runners with muscle problems because of the cold weather we had.  Started back to running last Wednesday. The calf pain finally stopped hurting yesterday. Plan on around 4 miles tonight.

3 miles. Still not feeling 100% but at least my HR wasn't in the 180s for >11:00 min pace, like over the weekend.

Beautiful weather today (70s and sunny) but a big storm is coming through later in the week. Unfortunately, last week's "once in a century" storm flooded multiple neighborhoods, with I think still 100s of people displaced. We had 1/3 of our annual rainfall in one day. Not sure what to expect this time but it can't be good.

URD for me. Just didn't make it out there in the gloomy, cloudy, 40-feels-like-30 weather after dealing with necessary things.

So the Miami Marathon was yesterday and I heard some people that apparently have never heard me bitching about OMG how was it this hot since it's January. 86F or so during the race. Yeah, it's fucking Miami and that is not even rare (that might be a tad cool, frankly).
