Why on earth would anyone sign up for that??
lmao! I though that was a pyramid in Egypt!
Glad to see you in good spirits Julie! : : smooches : :
Go figure
Hey guys. Double action for me today. 10 even with the group this morning, and then 8.86 by myself later this afternoon.
I'm woefully behind on race reports and it makes me feel terrible guilty. It's on my to-do list for tomorrow, I swear.
Bruce...great news!
Trying to find some more hay to restock the barn
It sometimes takes me a full week to read them, but that's mostly because I have adult ADD....had it as a kid too!
Congrats Bruce! REally happy for you!
Hi guys! Late to the Saturdailies party, but thought I'd stop by and say hi anyway. : )
Just did a leg and ab weights routine at the Y this morning.
Lily, I *hear* you about the sore butt! I started riding the stationary bike at the Y 3 weeks ago. After the very first ride, I headed right out and bought myself a pair of padded cycling shorts! lol They help a lot, but my butt was still pretty sore for a while. It's really only been this week that I've been like, ok, this isn't so bad anymore. A cycling friend says her husband would triple short it when he started riding, lol!

Jay, nice run. And I felt more tired when I woke up than when I went to bed, sigh.

The Laufenfest 5k wasn't a great one, probably won't post an RR because of it, I was a minute and a few seconds away from my goal time. Humidity was awful, 84% and 77 degrees. Made the mistake of assuming I'd start off too slow so I put myself in the middle to back (I thought there would be more people behind me), I spent the first 1.5 miles zigzagging through and around groups of people, almost got ran over at the finish and had a time of 26:02.
The Color Blaze 5k, lots of color and we walked most of it, miserable heat and I ended up getting severely sick afterwards.
Oh well, tomorrow is going to be a rest day, and I am not going to fret too much over this morning. No more June races for me, I can't stand this humidity here.
