this for me was the main purpose of getting the Stryd pod and then a few months after getting it the track shut down due to COVID so I quit using it but it actually works really well for this purpose (very accurate to the measured distances on the track)

Trixie recently got stuck on my cables for the computer, Garmin etc. and dumped a lot to the floor. When I walked to pick them up, I stepped on something. My poor Stryd... I doubt it will work any time soon.
