That is actually pretty wild. I am familiar with the Fibonacci sequence, but I had no idea of this.
Yep, pretty cool!
1 mile = 1.609 km
And as the Fibonacci sequence tends to infinity, dividing a number by the one preceding it gives the golden number of 1.618...
So it's roughly 1.62 for the golden number vs 1.61 for the km to miles ratio. Close enough for me.
If you know the Fibonacci sequence, it can give you an easy km to miles conversion or the other way around.
Super cool.
Happy BUFFALO DAY!!! (7-16 area code, duh! <--)
10 easy.
Former Bad Ass
Took DD to the ENT today. The good news is that her nose doesn't need surgery.
Sounds good! Hope her recovery is quick, poor girl!

10 miles done and I'm not reading Cy's last post.
We're posting in km now
Good thing that I ran a bit extra to make my 6 miler into a 10k.
Are we there, yet?
11.75 km at a crawl, make that a slow crawl. I should know better than to try to run that far the day after an interval workout.

4 miles with tonight. I decided to stop being a wimp and start working to get my speed back tonight. I was determined to run a sub-7 mile and got a 6:56. My other miles were 8:21/8:09/7:46 for an average pace of 7:48. A nice run for it being 92 degrees and a dew point of 68.
